The museum has many interesting displays honoring area servicemen and women, long married couples, and early pioneers. There is a display on Meadow Native, Sonny Curtis, well known performer and songwriter. He wrote the Everly brother's hit,"Walk Right Back," "I Fought the Law" sung by Bobby Fuller, and wrote and sang the Mary Tyler Moore theme, "Love is All Around." Established in 1975, the museum contains items representing small town life on the plains, including a replica of a three-room house with authentic 1920's furnishings.
